As the knife plunged through Jane's stomach, she fell down on the floor, and landed in a supine position. While the rebels continue to raze through the city, Jane was being sent to the hospital. The nurses moved fast and quickly brought her to the operating table. The doctor examined her and realized that the knife had contained a lethal poison. She was doomed to die.
Jane's parents greived as the doctor told them the saddening news. Many deaths have been caused by the havoc the rebels created. Though they did not have any mammoth sized tanks, the city was destroyed in just a few days.

You can actually rework this post into a short story. The setting is great for the drama of Jane's death.
In its current form, however, this post lacks focus. I'm not sure what you are trying to convey.
