Looking at the his watch, he grew nervous. A few more minutes time, the examination will start. This examination was very important to him. It would determind whether or not he would be able to enrol into the school. It was his childhood dream to get into the school.

A myraid of students gathered at the entrance of the examintation hall. The time passed, he made an abortive attempt to calm himself down, as he was too nervous. Though he had an innate music ability and his parents who gave their full support, but inside, he still deemed that he would fail. However he was willing to try. He stepped into the examination hall, with the rest of the students romping into the hall, confidently.

Mary looked down to the murky lake and smiled. She finally had her revenge. After many years of concocting a perfect plan, she finally made it. She had finally succeeded! Finally she was free, free from all the humility she had suffered because of her, free from the abusing she had suffered from Vivian's beatings.

Vivian was once an impeccable mother that Mary had. However, after the death of her husband, Vivian seemed to go crazy. The once gullible Mary turned into a cunning woman, everyday thinking of how to stop her mother from abusing her. But when she finally did it, she did not exult nor did she cry. The policeman looked at him in the eyes. "Speak up! Who is your accomplice?" he said, with a hint of asperity. Mary looked away, silent. The policeman, Jack, banged his fists on the table. "I repeat, who is your accomplice in the liquidation of Sally?" Jack said, frustrated.

Jack went out of the room, banging the door behind him. It was useless. She refused to say the name of her accomplice. Jack knew there was someone who helped her, she could not have killed Sally by herself. He had to track that person down.

In the room, tears dropped on to Mary's handcuffs. She had sucessfully made them think that she was culpable and kept her mouth shut so it would preclude anyone else from being suspected. "Its all worth it."She thought.
